The Port of Huelva is located near Africa, which gives it a competitive edge in terms of commerce. It features 8.5 kilometers of public and private docks and is divided into two sectors: the inner port (with less traffic and located in the city of Huelva) and the outer port (located in Palos de la Frontera).

Depending on where you are coming from, you can access the port in the following way:
From Seville and Portugal: by means of roadway CN-431.
From Extremadura: by means of roadway CN-435 from Badajoz and Zafra.
The inner and outer docks are connected by Avenida Francisco Montenegro and by the Río Tinto Bridge.
There is a free bus service connecting Avenida Doctor Rubio, Huelva, with the ferry itself, at the ferry’s departure and arrival times on Fridays and Saturdays.
You can use the Huelva branch line to get to the port. It is connected to the Seville-Huelva line and is also linked with the Huelva-Zafra line.
The branch line provides service to the industrial area of the inner port, as well as to the outer port and the associated industrial area (Nuevo Puerto Industrial Park, Refinery, etc.)
