Just 90 miles from the shores of Africa, the Port of Motril is one of Spain's newest ports, although it's still been in existence for more than 100 years. Its modern installations and strategic location on the Strait of Gibraltar means the Port of Motril has great potential for transport and trade between the European and African continents.

About the Melilla Port

The Port of Melilla is located in the Autonomous City of Melilla, which was founded by the Phoenicians.

It currently has the best maritime stations of all the Mediterranean Sea. At the end of 2018, the Port’s extension is expected to be built.

How to get to the Melilla Ferry Terminal?

The port is located at Avda. de la Marina Española, Number 4.  The Port of Melilla is just 2.5 kilometers (a 10-minute drive) from the airport.

Shuttle Service

Our company, FRS, makes a shuttle service available to you at the Port of Motril just at the landing area.  The shuttle service connects the cities of Málaga and Granada.
