FRS is now certified with My Care

We are the First Shipping Line to be awarded the My Care certification from DNV GL for managing the risk of infection in our facilities following the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic.

These are the measures that we’ve adopted, both on land and on board our ferries, in order to protect your safety before, during and after the journey.

Cleaning and disinfection

We have a specific work team to carry out all the anti-COVID hygiene measures.

Epidemic control kits

We have kits containing material such as masks, hydroalcoholic gel and gloves on board.

Vending machines

The cafeteria service has been replaced with vending machines with drinks and food.

Reserved spaces

We have reserved spaces available for families and groups.

Protocols

Passenger protection protocol in the event of suspected infections. Continuous monitoring system onshore and on board.

Temperature control

We’ll carry out temperature checks on all passengers before boarding.                              

Movement circuit

We’ve established a signposted circuit for the movement of passengers inside the ship. 

Available seats

Distribution of available seats with a separation which allows the safety distance to be maintained.

Separation screens

We’ve separated spaces with safety screens.

Measures and review

FRS always strictly complies with the required measures, legally verified by independent external bodies. 

Cleaning services

Protocol for disinfecting and cleaning the toilets every time a customer uses them.

Ozone machines

We have ozone machines to guarantee the air purity on board.                      

Staff training

Specific training of the crew and ground staff on anti-COVID-19 hygiene measures.

Well-marked stations with hydroalcoholic gel.
