FRS Cargo was launched in the year 2010 with the Algeciras- Tanger Med line. After extending its business to other lines in the Strait of Gibraltar, in 2014, the Kattegat – a sister ship to the well-known Tangier Express – joined the three vessels already assigned to cargo, further strengthening the shipping company’s presence and reputation in Spain and Morocco.
The routes operated by FRS Cargo today are:
Algeciras - Ceuta - Algeciras: Seven daily departures from each Port
Algeciras - Tanger MED - Algeciras: Up to ten daily departures from each Port
What differentiates FRS from other transport companies when it comes to transporting goods?
Punctuality in complying with our timetables, frequency to meet demand, professionalism in our commitments and transparency both in our rates and in our daily operations.
All bookings are managed through FRS Cargo Departments under the conditions set out below:
If you do not have an account with FRS, this will be done through the Forwarder, Customs Agent or A.E.O. These are all FRS customers, who carry out the corresponding Customs formalities and space reservation with our Cargo Departments. They will make payment to FRS.
In the case of direct bookings made through direct connection with our Cargo Departments, you will need to have already opened an account – the processing and management of which is carried out directly with our sales team. The new customer will be registered under the conditions required for this process. In this case, bookings would be sent by the newly registered customer to our corresponding Cargo Departments, assuming the payment of sea freight to FRS, with the customer being responsible for ensuring the Customs obligations and managing this separately with the Forwarder, Customs Agent or A.E.O.
What differentiates FRS from other shipping companies when it comes to transporting goods?
Punctuality in complying with our timetables, frequency to meet demand, professionalism in our commitments and transparency both in our rates and in our daily operations.
