FRS Iberia operates in the Strait of Gibraltar since 2000. The Company currently covers the routes of Algeciras-Ceuta, Algeciras-Tanger Med and Tarifa-Tanger Ville with a fleet of 7 vessels.

FRS offers an exciting opportunity for a professional with well-founded experiences who is looking for a demanding role as Onboard Sales Manager.

Objectives:

The Onboard Sales Manager ensures that our guests enjoy the best possible service and ensures that the crew and the department on shore delivers the highest standards in terms of customer service within our duty-free shops and on-board restaurants.

The Onboard Sales Manager is responsible for managing and controlling revenue and expenditure activities of his area. The Manager also has to develop specific operational plans to meet sales and profit goals. Periodically, the Onboard Sales Manager needs to make statistics and report on financial situation to the managing director.

The Onboard Sales Manager responsible for monitoring and managing the use of the sales system, hardware and machinery for the work of the department. He is also responsible for proposing equipment renovation and coordinating with the technical department in the repair and maintenance of machinery and equipment.

To ensure a fair and professional working environment for the cabin crew the Onboard Sales Manager is responsible for maintaining and improving a system of working rules for cabin crew, deploying, guiding, and supervising employee compliance with MLC and company service standards.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Hospitality, enjoys being a great host!
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Very good command of the English language is mandatory.
  • Spanish or French language skills are a plus, at least willingness to learn or improve.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong Leadership skills in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Ability to connect with customers.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Ability to continuously forecast and control sales.
  • Strong working knowledge of related sales software and Microsoft Office.
  • Extensive knowledge of cost control management and fraud prevention.
