About FRS
FRS Iberia/Maroc is part of the ferry division of the Danish company DFDS from 10th January 2024.
The combination of DFDS and FRS Iberia/Maroc improves the network and offered services for freight customers and passengers in the Mediterranean.
FRS Iberia/Maroc, established in the Strait of Gibraltar since 2000, is the only freight and passenger ferry company that operates all routes of the Strait of Gibraltar. It operates regularly on Tarifa – Tanger Ville, Algeciras – Tanger Med, and Algeciras – Ceuta.
FRS Iberia/Maroc has been present in Spain since 2000, starting its operations in the Strait of Gibraltar.

Since 2000, FRS Iberia and FRS Moroc have been offering fast ferry crossings all year round between Spain and Morocco through the Strait of Gibraltar.
The main FRS route is between Tarifa (Spain) and the Port of Tangier Ville (Morocco), which is the shortest sea route between both continents, with a journey time of less than one hour. Since the summer of 2008, FRS Iberia/Maroc also connects with a fast ferry Ceuta to Algeciras.
In addition, we have established new shipping lines connecting the Moroccan port of Tangier Med with the ports of Algeciras and Gibraltar. In addition to our ferry crossings, we offer a variety of organized land excursions in Tanger Ville.
Each year, FRS Iberia/Maroc transports 1.3 million passengers (about the population of New Hampshire), 280,000 vehicles and more than 125,000 cargo units.
